Board of Trustees
Doug Lohman
President
Doug is serving in his third year as a Crosby Township Trustee. A local resident, Doug has owned and operated Lohman’s Feed Store & Garden Center for 26 years. He looks forward to serving the great people of our community.
Dennis A. Heyob
Vice President
Dennis has been a Crosby Township resident for over 50 years. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy from Ohio State University. A life-long farmer, he previously served on Zoning boards for 32 years. He oversees the Zoning Department.
Chuck Heis
Trustee
Chuck was elected Trustee in 2021 and previously served as Trustee (2016-2019) and Fiscal Officer (2008-2016). A retired CPA with BBA and MBA from the University of Cincinnati, with over 40 years in finance and auditing.

Christina Vennemeier
Township Administrator
Serves as the primary administrative contact for Crosby Township, managing day-to-day operations and serving as the liaison between residents and township services.

W. Charles Slaven
Fiscal Officer
Responsible for managing the financial affairs of the township including budgeting, accounting, and payroll. Ensures fiscal responsibility and transparency in all township financial matters.
Brenda Jackson
Community Coordinator
Brenda became Community Coordinator in 2014 and has lived in Crosby Township for nearly 40 years. Her experience as a teacher and youth director brings fresh ideas to township events like Crosby Day, Memorial Day Parade, and Kringle Chest.

Department Heads
Fire Chief Jason Davis
Fire Department
Jason has been in the fire service since 1994. He joined Crosby Township in 2005 and has advanced through the ranks from Firefighter to Chief. He’s an active member of the Hamilton County Fire Investigation Team and the Greater Cincinnati Region National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Rick Espel
Zoning Inspector
Rick has served as Zoning Inspector since 2001. He graduated from UC in 1974 with a BBA and is owner of Espel Construction, specializing in finish carpentry. He’s also President of Red Hawk Development. Office hours are Mondays 6:30-8:00 PM.

Jim Niehaus
Maintenance Supervisor
Jim is a life-long Crosby Township resident who previously served as Trustee for 16 years overseeing the Maintenance Department. He has varied experience through his Jim Niehaus Backhoe Service and many community connections.
