Dennis A. Heyob
President
Dennis has been a Crosby Township resident for over 50 years. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy from Ohio State University. A life-long farmer, he served on Zoning boards for 32 years and has been President of the Hamilton County Farm Bureau multiple times.
Doug Lohman
Vice President
Doug lives in Crosby Township and has called this area home for his entire life. He and his wife Mary have been married for 29 years and have raised 4 children. For over 26 years, Doug has owned and operated Lohman’s Feed Store and Garden Center on New Haven Road.
Rick Losekamp
Trustee
Rick Losekamp serves as Trustee for Crosby Township, dedicated to maintaining the community’s quality of life and supporting responsible growth for residents.
Township Administration
Christina Vennemeier
Township Administrator
Christina is a longtime resident of both Crosby Township and Harrison, Ohio. She brings over 33 years of leadership experience in public education, including 22 years in educational administration as an award-winning intermediate school principal. Now retired from education, she continues her commitment to public service through her work with Crosby Township.
W. Charles Slaven
Fiscal Officer
Charlie has lived in Crosby Township for more than 40 years with over 50 years of business experience as a professional CPA (E&Y and KPMG), University Professor, and executive with companies including Kroger, GE, and Christ Hospital. He holds numerous professional certifications in project management, business analysis, and accounting.
Brenda Jackson
Community Coordinator
Brenda became Community Coordinator in 2014 and has lived in Crosby Township for nearly 40 years. Her experience as a former teacher, Youth Director, and mission trip coordinator brings fresh ideas to township events like Crosby Day at Stricker’s Grove, the annual Memorial Day Parade, and Kringle Chest.
Department Heads
Fire Chief Jason Davis
Fire Department
Jason has been in the fire service since 1994. He joined Crosby Township in 2005 and has advanced through the ranks from Firefighter to Chief. He’s an active member of the Hamilton County Fire Investigation Team and the Greater Cincinnati Region National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
Rick Espel
Zoning Inspector
Rick has served as Zoning Inspector since 2001, enforcing zoning regulations and responding to complaints. He graduated from UC in 1974 with a BBA and is owner of Espel Construction, specializing in finish carpentry. He’s also President of Red Hawk Development. Office hours are Monday evenings.
Jim Niehaus
Maintenance Supervisor
Jim is a life-long Crosby Township resident who previously served as Trustee for 16 years overseeing the Maintenance Department. He has varied experience through his Jim Niehaus Backhoe Service and many community connections.
